Snow Sign Tutorial

The weather outside is frightful and the fire is so delightful but as long as you love me so, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

Here in Texas the weather is in the 50’s and I don’t see snow is in our near future. I’m originally from Chicago and I was not a fan of the harsh winters but it would be nice to have snow on Christmas. So let’s make some SNOW -letters that is. This is a really fun project and the concept can be used for other projects as well. If you have not had a chance to use mod podge it will change your life.  Plus, there are several DIY mod podge receipes on Pinterest.

Want to make this?  Here is what you need:
1. Letters S-N-O-W (I got mine from Michaels)
2. 4 pgs of scrap book paper of your choosing (I got mine from hobby lobby)
3. Glue or mod podge
4. Scissors

I wanted my letters to have a vintage feel so I picked scrapbook paper to reflect this.  I used wooden letter that were about 10 inches in height.

Place the letters facing down and closely trace the letters. (tip: hold the pencil with the tip inward so that the outline is more accurate).

Cut the outline(s) out. Test the paper over the letter to review for errors.

With glue or mod podge secure the paper to the letters.

Allow to dry. After 24hrs of dry time the letters are ready to display.

Make it Spicy and Merry,
Amanda
